Interim Command and Control (ICC)
ICC provides functional support for the most critical Air Command and Control (Air C2) functions at Component Command Air and Combined Air Operations Centre (CAOC) level, such as planning, resource allocation and tasking. ICC also supports the preparation and use of Air Operations Directives (AODs), Airspace Control Orders (ACOs), (Joint) Prioritised Target List (PTLs), Air Tasking Orders (ATOs) and Air Task Messages (ATMs).
Furthermore, ICC allows for a number of automated status reporting messages for the planning and execution of both offensive and defensive operations. This includes the display of an Environment System through the Networked Interoperable Real-time Information Services (NIRIS), as well as the support of air status reporting, air surveillance and control status, surface-to-air missile status reporting, etc.
